Patrick4Life AIDS Awareness and Education is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating youth about HIV and AIDS.

Patrick4Life creates awareness about HIV and AIDS through education, leadership, fundraising and partnerships.

P4L PURPOSE

Patrick4Life’s purpose is to provide and facilitate the development and implementation of educational programs and activities designed to equip youth with the skills and knowledge they need to make healthy life-style choices. Patrick4Life’s programs and services include, but are not limited to, the development of educational curricula,  programs and the support of teacher training.

P4L PROGRAMS and ACTIVITIES

Youth participate in a ten week-in school program working towards completing a marathon during daily physical activity time. Each week a character trait/virtue is introduced along with age appropriate HIV and AIDS information. (read more)

Patrick4Life supports and facilitates, in cooperation with School Boards, the growth and development of teachers to implement HIV and AIDS curriculum. (read more)

A group of high school youth ambassadors, which form an inclusive and welcoming committee, meet regularly to discuss ways to raise HIV and AIDS awareness. Youth4Youth contribute and participate in all initiatives put forth by Patrick4Life. (read more)

Patrick4Life hosts its main annual fundraiser the second weekend in June to support the organization’s efforts to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS.

Next year, the Family Fest kicks off on the June 9 with a pasta dinner for participants and friends. Sunday, June 10, people of all ages are welcome to participate in a well organized event made possible with the help of 150 cheerful volunteers. For more information, please visit runwalk4patrick.ca
